Client wanted:
- A consolidated financial model, to increase the financial transparency. This project was focused on generating an improved insight in the costs of the Business Units on distinguished Areas,for defined product groups
- To use this insight to benchmark front and back office activities, to compare performance of identified BU’s on distinguished Area’s
Our solution
- Focus phase: analysis of organisational costs, and make them comparable between BU’s, set up standard value chains per Area, determine the branches per Area
- Data collection and modeling: including setting up systems architecture
- Analysis, validation, and define next staps
The results
The following deliverables are realised:
- BU financial report with analysis of the performance per BU
- Area financial report with analysis of the performance per BU within this Area
- Systems infrastructure defined and implemented, including training and preparation of manual to enable Insurance Company to repeat this process on a yearly basis
